Week 10
Houseguests: Dustin Erikstrup, Nicole Schaffrich, Porsche Briggs, Renny Martyn
The last second change of plans spared Dustin and he was happy to still be in the house.
I've got so many emotions going through my head, I'm so excited I can't breathe. I'm also yawning. WTF?
I REALLY HOPE that I can get all three of them to REGRET keeping me in this game.
DUSTIN'S TAKING OVER BITCHES!
Or at least will try to...
I feel awful about evicting Sarah but it was the smartest game move. She is very strong in competitions and going into the final 4 I needed to start making some moves for myself in the game. Next week it would have been the 4 of us going against each other and the only one that I know for sure won't be after me is Renny. i also need to get over this damn veto curse I have. I have not won a veto all season!
The HOH competition was called "Head of Households", where the houseguest had to complete a slide puzzle in the quickest amount of time. With a time of 13 seconds, Renny walked away with her third HOH of the season.
So yay, I won HOH. I was thinking it might be better if Nicole won HOH and I won POV but...at least I'm in F3.
Renny winning hoh sucks. If I don't win veto, I'm gone. If I win I either evict Nicole, and keep 2 huge threats in the game or evict Porsche and keep renny and nicoles f2 in the game.
At the nomination ceremony, Renny had only one key to give and knew nominations meant little for the week.
[To house]
Renny: Welcome to the nomination ceremony. Winning HOH at final four really just means I'm safe this week. As we all know, my nominations at this point don't really mean much. It's all about the veto. So, without further ado, I will present the only key to...Nicole, you are safe...for now. As you know, you'll have to fight to stay off the block. As we all know, you're capable of doing just that.
Obviously, I've nominated Dustin and Porsche.
Dustin, your shocked gif was priceless last week. You've been quite entertaining throughout the game and I'm sure you will be this week as well. This is your chance to win something and take yourself off the block.
Porsche, you've never been nominated so I figured you should have a turn. I think we all know you have been dedicated to and care about the game. You're definitely a tough competitor so show us what you've got.
You're all great players who I've come to appreciate and respect in one way or another. You've all gotten yourselves to final four. POV is going to decide who's in the final three. Good luck to you all!
I am definitely in a bit of a dilemma since I have F2s with both [girls] but I had to do what I had to do.
I'm just hoping my words to Dustin, that this is his chance to win something, don't prove to be an omen, lol. It would truly suck if he won - unless he took Nicole. I know he told Nicole he sees Porsche as a threat (she is) but he has to see that Nicole is a bigger one. If Nicole can make him feel like she'd take him, though, that could work. As long as it's not a promise she intends to keep.
I have one thing on my mind right now: I need need need to win the Power of Veto this week, because if I don't…I'm probably going to be the next juror. Renny is the ultimate ally and friend, so I'm glad she's HoH. She really is the best kind of partner you can ask for in this game. She keeps me informed, she keeps me motivated, and she's (as far as I know) completely loyal. I want to be sitting next to her in the final two, not because I think I'll beat her (in fact, I think she'll probably win) but because I want to stick to the promise we made. Betraying Sarah last week was an extremely difficult decision but I believe it was the right thing to do in order to make sure that Renny and I are at the end. I really do believe that there's something to be said about playing as loyally as possible, but that doesn't mean you have to overlook making the right strategic decision at pivotal points in the game. Last week, I made sure that sound strategy superseded loyalty for the sake of loyalty. This week? I haven't made up my mind just yet.
If I win the Veto, I have to choose between evicting Dustin and Porsche, and the decision will be 100% mine.
The truth is: I have to keep Porsche. Keeping Dustin is the smarter short-term move because it likely ensures that Renny and I will be in the final two. But keeping Porsche is the smarter long-term move, because it doesn't lose me any jury votes and it won't cause Renny to question my loyalty heading into the final three. I believe that Renny and I have what it takes to make it to the end together, regardless of who's competing against us in the final HoH competition. So why would I make an enemy out of Porsche by evicting her a week too early?
The final veto competition was "Gone in 90 Seconds". The Final Four had a minute and a half to figure out as many rebus puzzles as they could. Being the only houseguest to get a puzzle, Nicole won the final veto of the season.
I WON! With one right answer! I would be in disbelief right now but I'm too relieved and excited! I'm in the FINAL FUCKING THREE!!! This shit is on and poppin'. I don't even know what that means but…it just is.
At the veto meeting Nicole's decision was no surprise to anyone.
[To house]
Nicole: Welcome to the Veto meeting, guys. I want to say congratulations to all of us for making it to the Final Four. You're all wicked and I could go on and on explaining what I like about you, but you can see the last Veto meeting for that. I'm really excited and relieved to have won this final Veto because it puts my fate in this game in my own hands, but it also comes with a really difficult decision. If I choose not to use the Veto, that means I'll be casting the sole vote to evict this week and that's a pretty heavy job. Kind of. Evicting Sarah last week was the hardest decision I made in this entire game. This week's decision, on the other hand, is understandably easy. I've decided…not to use the Power of Veto.
Dustin, Porsche, that means one of you will be evicted this week and the other will join Renny and me in the final three. I think the world of you both and it's too bad, Dustin, that you weren't online to play for the chance to save yourself. I'll cast my vote to evict in the Diary Room shortly. This Veto meeting is adjourned.
At the eviction ceremony, Dustin was the last threat to the Slayers and was evicted from the Big Brother Recycled house.
