Week 5

HOH

I always win competitions when I least expect it lol....So if anyone was still doubting me, have I proved myself yet?! A veto win and now an HOH win. This definitely shows I'm a strong player which is good and bad. Good because it shows I'm not just floating along holding on to my alliance's coattails. Bad because it will put me on people's radar as a threat and possible target. Right now my strategy is to stay with my alliance and reach out to some other players I don't have a close connection to.

The Slayers' plan for this week was to get whoever came back out again. It was Jordan, just like we expected, only she came back with beef against Porsche which makes her more of a threat than she already is. Jordan chatted me as soon as she got in the game. It's funny that now that her back is on the line, she gets all chatty. Every other time I chatted with her, she barely responded, but now it's like we're BFFs. The only good thing that came out of it was this:

Jordan: hehe Thanks! You'll be safe if I win, just letting you know. <3

Still, even if I'm safe, other people in the Slayers alliance are targets for her :\

My personal targets in this game are Karen, Parker, and Dustin. Karen still is completely invisible and she's merely dead weight at this point. She does decent in competitions, but she has no social game, so no one knows where her head is at. I suspect that she might be working with someone who deflects attention off her, but I don't know who. I think next week the house should get together and call a truce and vote her out. At least then we'll know everyone is playing the game. I don't know where Parker stands at all in this game. I never talk to him and I've been told in the past that he wanted me out. I'll definitely need to talk to him before I make nominations. Last, Dustin....now Dustin is tricky because he's good for my alliance, but not necessarily good for me. I don't trust him to ever keep me safe, but right now he's good for a vote with us. I'll probably keep him around this week and go after him in the next couple weeks.

There's a little bit of drama in the Slayer Alliance. Jun is causing Porsche to question her loyalties. Now I'm pretty sure Jun and Nicole are close, so I'm gonna use this as a chance to get in closer to Porsche and Renny. They are the stronger competitors and maybe we can do some kind of Final 3 deal after we get to Final 5.

So nominations were kinda tricky because I had to try to do what was best for not only myself, but also for my alliance.

First person, Steven. Steven and I have chatted a couple times and while we are not allies, he is not someone I would want to go home. He pm'd me congratulating me on my HOH win and I took the opportunity to make a set deal with him. By keeping him safe, which I was gonna do regardless, he promised to that he wouldnt put me up if he were to win HoH the next two weeks, he would keep my noms the same if he won the veto, and he would vote whichever way I wanted me to. This works out perfectly for me because not only should he keep me safe, but I will have a vote from him.

I also was able to talk to Parker. Now anything I hear from him, I only take with a grain of salt. He told me that even if he wanted me out near the beginning, he has other targets in mind now. I also got a deal from him if I kept him safe.

bbr10sarah: If I kept you safe this week, would you come after me if you got power in the next couple weeks
Parker: Absolutely not. I have other people in mind that I'd target if I was to win HoH next week or the week after that but you won't even touch the nomination chairs if you keep me safe this round, that I can promise you.

I still haven't talked to Karen which worries me, but right now I can't worry about her.

Working with the Slayers, we wanted Jordan out this week. My original plan was to put up Jordan and Parker, but now that has changed. Though I don't trust Parker's deal, Jordan would be the main target anyways, so putting him up would just be making another enemy. My other options then were Dustin and Jordan or Karen and Jordan.

Renny came to me with the idea of backdooring Jordan. By putting up a Slayer and Dustin and then having the rest of the Slayers play in the veto, we can assure a win and put Jordan up as a replacement. According to Porsche, Dustin wanted Parker and Jordan up this week and would definitely vote out Jordan over a Slayer. After talking it through with everyone, I think I might do it to avoid making any additional enemies.

We changed it up a little bit though. To assure Dustin will go with us, as a good faith effort, I'm gonna keep him safe. Instead I'll put up Renny and Jun, and we'll pick the Slayers + Dustin for veto and whoever wins takes someone off and Jordan goes up. Dustin is the only one I'm worried about. I chatted with him very briefly and he said he was on board with the plan. Let's just hope he follows through....

I got Veto. I am so excited. This is the best thing that has ever happened to me. (<---insert sarcasm here)

This is exactly what I didn't want to happen this week. Of course I get my worst case scenario. Everything should still work out, but I'm gonna get blood on my hands regardless.

Jordan chatted me the other day after veto player picks were done asking if she was being backdoored. There was no way I was gonna say "Yes Jordan. That's the plan. Now please just sit quietly and don't cause any drama." Instead I tried to put her off:

Jordan: I have this gut feeling that there is a backdoor attempt on the rise, and I'm not sure if you'll confirm or deny it, but it's just there
Jordan: Idk why I'm telling you, I just feel like out of everyone, you are one of the few that I can trust more
bbr10sarah: I have a couple people who I was looking at when I made nominations and you were one of them, but I didn't feel that nominating you was right. Depending on what happens with the veto, I won't deny theres a possibility you could go up, but I'm just waiting to see what will happen
Jordan: Right, I was just figuring since I wasn't picked for the veto and most of the people who seem to be against me were that it was a backdoor attempt. It's fine lol
bbr10sarah: I was not expecting hoh so I kinda scrambled for nominations, and you were someone I had talked to in the past couple days
bbr10sarah: And I didn't feel you would target me, so there wasn't anything to gain from me nominating you

Now I have to change nominations and backdoor her anyways. This sucks...

I also talked to Parker, who is following through on his statement of chatting more, about Karen. He's also worried about her, so maybe I can use that to get her out.

Now I have to decide who I should take off the block: Renny or Jun. I would prefer to take Renny off because she is who I want to make sure stays, but I'm afraid they could connect her, Porsche, and I. Jun has more of a chance to get Dustin's vote just in case, plus I'd rather risk her then Renny.

Who know's what I'm gonna do. I guess we'll see when I post the veto meeting
